/ Design language

The brand is in the details

Design language is a communication tool with its own vocabulary, compiled to help you create visually harmonious and coherent designs, that are distinctive compared to others, but also maintain an internal consistency that comes across as a recognizable style.

Main elements of the Infobip design language are text brand elements, supporting graphics and elements relating to our engineering background (e.g. brackets), UI elements, mobile devices, circles and connectors, icons, and background elements.

// Layer One
Messaging first
// Layer Two
Product centered
// Layer Three
Engineering elements

Above are the three key visual layers we always consider when creating an asset.

In whatever we do, we lead with messaging first.

We express our creativity through short and clear messaging, and the supporting graphics are there to support, not interfere with the headline.

We aim for a fine balance between verbal and visual, and the balance is obtained by applying a bigger font size and emphasizing the keywords we want to highlight through elements like orange brackets, which relate to our engineering background.

It's not always that all three elements need to be present in a visual, but those that are there must be created with clear communication in mind, while design needs to stay simple, essential, and subtle.

/ Our icons are simple and legible

We use them moderately and meaningfully in a proper and balanced composition when necessary to illustrate a point, not as a decorative element. We don't cram them, we don't put them in clusters, and we don't arrange them haphazardly.

The icons can be used as open forms or placed in round or square containers. The optional size of the container is determined by the external elements of the icon grid.
